Balanced Living: La Union Philosophy

La Union is a thoughtfully designed residential building in Panama City’s historic Avenida Central, offering a balanced lifestyle of modern living and community. Featuring resort-style rooftop amenities, flexible lock-off apartments, and long-term rental potential, La Union blends architectural heritage with smart investment and everyday comfort in the heart of Gran Central.

In the winding streets of Santa Ana, where early 20th-century architecture meets the rising energy of a new urban era, we are building a place for those who want to be co-authors of the city’s next chapter. If Bungalo is our hotel-inspired sanctuary, La Union is our heartbeat of community.

It is the largest and most balanced building in the Gran Central district—a place designed for those who seek the "best of both worlds": the soul of the historic district and the effortless flow of modern life.

Who is La Union For? La Union was conceived for those who aren't just visiting a community, but want to become part of its pulse. Whether you are an entrepreneur looking for a creative home base or a pragmatist seeking a high-performing asset that doesn't sacrifice quality of life, La Union offers a seat at the table in Panama’s historic district.

The Rooftop Resort: Elevating the Everyday At La Union, we’ve traded the "glass box" isolation of high-rises for a curated ecosystem of connection.

The rooftop isn't just a social area; it’s practically a resort. Imagine a 25-meter swimming pool—a rarity in the historic district—paired with sweeping views that stretch from the steeples of Casco Viejo to the shimmering horizon of the Pacific.

But the amenities go deeper than the view. We’ve designed "Sanctuario," a space that includes a library, a coffee bar, and a co-working lounge, ensuring that "working from home" feels like an act of elation rather than a chore. Multiple social areas with outdoor kitchens and bars allow owners to host friends and family.

A rooftop gym and outdoor calisthenics area with sauna and cold plunge supports a lifestyle of health and longevity, all within a fifteen-minute walk of everything you need.

The Power of the Lock-Off We believe that "thoughtful design" should provide more than just beauty; it should provide options. Many of our two- and three-bedroom apartments feature optional lock-off layouts. This "two-units-in-one" configuration allows for ultimate flexibility:

The Hybrid Life: Live in the main residence and rent out the lock-off suite to significantly reduce your monthly carry. The Investment Strategy: Operate the units as two separate rentals to optimize your yield.

The Guest Suite: Maintain a private space for friends and family that remains entirely independent when not in use. A Dynamic Community, But Not a Hotel One of the most frequent questions we hear is about rental rules. It’s a matter we have studied carefully over the years, and come to the conclusion that getting the balance between income potential and livability correct is essential.

At La Union, nightly rentals are prohibited. By maintaining a minimum 30-day stay, we preserve the peace and the "homey" feeling that defines the building, while still allowing owners to generate income from Panama’s vibrant furnished monthly and longer term demand.

This restriction avoids the constant turnover associated with nightly rentals. Welcome to La Union. Welcome home.
